Met Improvisational 3D printing heb je veel meer invloed op wat er geprint word en kan je tijdens het printprocess tot nieuwe ontwerpkeuzes komen. Haast zoals een beeldhouwer of pottenbakker dat kan. Dit project moet gezien worden al een speelse reactive op de bestaande 3D printer, waarbij alle ontwerpkeuzes vooraf gemaakt moeten worden en er weinig ruimte is voor het vrij ontdekken van artistieke speelruimte.

With Improvisational 3D printing you have much more influence on what is printed, and you can make new design choices during the printing process, almost like a sculptor or potter can. This project should be seen as a playful response to the existing 3D printers, where all design choices have to be made in advance, and there is little room for free exploration of artistic leeway.
