In de game UNMASK help je wetenschappers om de strijd aan te gaan tegen lymfeklierkanker. In de puzzelgame sorteer je vormen en kleuren, waarmee je wetenschappers nieuwe informatie geeft!
Per jaar krijgen 4000 mensen de diagnose lymfeklierkanker. Hiervan overlijden 1000 mensen. Dat komt doordat er nog geen goed medicijn is gevonden. Voor het medicijn zijn wetenschappers op zoek naar overeenkomsten in ons DNA. Door te gamen help je om die overeenkomsten te vinden! Dit klinkt heel ingewikkeld, maar dat valt heel erg mee. Het spel is een soort Candy Crush, waarin je verschillende vormpjes moet matchen. Dit zorgt voor data, die wordt doorgestuurd naar de wetenschappers. Zij kunnen dit gebruiken om nieuwe experimenten uit te voeren. Hoe meer mensen meespelen, hoe sneller de data gesorteerd is, en hoe sneller we lymfeklierkanker kunnen verslaan.
